Xamble Technologies

VP of Engineering, 2023 - 2024

I initially joined Xamble Technologies to help build two products and lead two engineering teams.

  • In December of 2022, I was brought over to Xamble Technologies as a Consulting Project Manager to put processes in place for the engineering team. I was responsible for ensuring two projects are delivered on time and within budget. I worked on the Xamble Social Wallet, a web3 membership platform that enables brands and influencers to reward and engage their valued consumers or followers, and Xamble Creators, a platform that helps creators and brands connect for work opportunities, collaborate on new ideas and create content to earn.
  • In 2023, I was promoted to VP of Engineering, where my responsibilities include managing the engineering team, meeting with stakeholders, and reporting directly to the CEO.

RedSquare Technologies (Also known as RedSquare Software)

Assistant CTO, 2018 — 2023

RedSquare Technologies is a software development company that builds custom software solutions for government and businesses. While I was at the company, I started out as an intern and worked my way up to Assistant CTO. MY responsibilities ranged from being the main backend developer, conceptualizing the software architecture, designing the user interface, performing user acceptance tests, deployments for cloud and on-prem, and managing the development team.

  • In 2018, I started out as an intern and continued working with the company part-time while juggling my studies. I worked on Finspark (Web) and Boost eWallet, a mobile app popular in Malaysia that allows users to pay for goods and services through their smartphones.
  • In 2019, I graduated and started working full time as a Junior Associate, where I was responsible for communicating with clients, gathering requirements, and building the backend. I worked on UndiLapanBelas, a web app that supported a bill by the Malaysian government to lower the voting age to 18. Paid Intership, a web app that allows interns to whistleblow on companies that do not pay their interns. I also worked on building the backend for Malaysia Future Leaders School (MFLS), the alternative solution for PLKN.
  • In 2020, I was promoted to Associate, where I was given the responsibility of for managing the projects myBelia and MFLS. The myBelia project, a web app to connect the youth to opportunities pertaining to jobs, businesses, training, and volunteering requires documentation, managing stakeholder expectations, performing testing, and on-prem deployment of the app. I worked on organising and conducting integration meetings with government agencies.
  • In 2021, I was promoted to Assistant CTO. A more managerial role where I was required to manage the engineering team and report directly to the CTO. My responsibilities include managing the engineering team to ensure that the projects are delivered on time, managing the expectations of clients and stakeholders, performing code reviews, and designing systems and architecture for clients based on their requirements.

During my time, I also worked on applying for public sector projects.
